I have a lowrance marine gps. I took it out of town and it thinks we r still there. How do I fix this?

My marine gps thinks it is still in another state. How do I make it realize that we r in a differen state Than the one that we traveled to?
Btw I have sat in one place for half an hour and it finds satellites but “position acquired” never shows up. 10 PTS!!!!!
It Says it is ovrrzoomed

Turn it on outside so it can find the satelites, make sure it has a clear view to the sky it should refind your location with in 5 mins.

If I tell mine to go to a way point, it will show that way point until I clear it, could you have your locked on to something at your home lake.

Hi there….. If overzoomed you have to use the zoom button and zoom out this allows you to see where you are and the cursors properly.
Lawrance have manuals on their website too.. They also have downloadble “practice” simulators which you can use to get used to your unit. If it doesnt have the exact unit pick one that looks similar and use that simulation. Thats how i got used to using mine. Its great for settign way points fishing places etc…
