Does anyone know where I can get a PC Data interface cable/vehicle charger for a garmin etrex GPS?

It can be seen at http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Interface-Vehicle-Adapter-010-10268-00/dp/B00004VX3A/ref=pd_sim_e_title_4
I just don’t feel like paying $35 for one when I’m sure one can be found cheaper elsewhere.

I got mine on Ebay (years ago but there are similar ones there yet).
You are looking for the cables for the older serial etrex units. The newer ones use USB.

Search on: Etrex serial cable power
and check the box to search the full text.

It will power the GPS while in the car.

there are also some that come with a plug in 12 volt supply so you can power it at home (not really all that useful).
